Daniel Neugebauer was educated as a literary scholar and is interested in the interfaces of communication and educational work. Trained at the Kunsthalle Bielefeld, from 2012 until 2018 he headed the division of marketing, mediation and fundraising at the Van Abbemuseum in the Netherlands. In 2016/2017 he coordinated marketing for documenta 14 in Kassel and Athens. In recent years, inclusion and queering have been the focus of his institutional practice.
