Sham Jaff

Sham Jaff studied political science and economics. She founded the English-language newsletter what happened last week? in 2014, which puts much-discussed and underreported news into entertaining and easy-to-understand form. She is a columnist for the political news podcast Die Wochendämmerung and was most recently featured on the podcasts Wir schaffen das and 190220 – Ein Jahr nach Hanau. Jaff received the Grimme Online Award in the Information category in 2021.
