Hanna Engelmeier
Hanna Engelmeier studied cultural studies and philosophy at Humboldt University in Berlin where she received her doctorate with a thesis on Humankind, the Ape: Anthropology and Darwin Reception in Germany, 1859–1900. She works as a research assistant at the Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities (KWI) Essen. Her essays and reviews on contemporary literature have been published in Merkur – Deutsche Zeitschrift für europäisches Denken, taz. die tageszeitung, Sprache im technischen Zeitalter and in the Süddeutsche Zeitung.
