Mat Dryhurst
Mat Dryhurst is an artist and researcher based in Berlin. His research focuses on technical and ethical protocols. He makes music and creates art with Holly Herndon, and their albums Proto (2019) and Platform (2015) have provoked international critical acclaim. He teaches at New York University’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, the Strelka Institute in Moscow and the European Graduate School in Saas-Fee, Switzerland, and Valletta, Malta. He previously served as the director of programming for the Gray Area Festival in San Francisco.
