Ahmet Derecik

Ahmet Derecik received a doctorate from Philipps University Marburg in 2011 with a dissertation on informal learning at all-day schools and since 2013 has been a junior professor of sports and society at the University of Osnabrück. He was the winner of the Ommo Grupe Prize for his research in the field of sports education. Derecik’s main areas of teaching and research are aspects of movement education, informal learning, democratic participation, integration, migration and (free) school spaces.
