Sebastian Conrad

Sebastian Conrad is a historian focusing on global and colonial history and professor of modern history at the Friedrich-Meinecke-Institut of Freie Universität Berlin. After studying history, Japanese studies and economics, he worked as a visiting professor at universities in Paris, Santa Barbara, New York and Florence. His publications include Deutsche Kolonialgeschichte (2008) on German colonial history.
