Liliana Angulo Cortés

Liliana Angulo Cortés is an artist. In her work she seeks to contribute to the struggles of Afro-Colombian communities, addressing social issues, memory and power, issues of representation, identity, race and development policies. She works with communities of African descent and their organization in an attempt to enunciate the naturalization of inequality. Her recent work is concerned with the legacy of Temístocles Machado in the Commune 6, Buenaventura.
