The Hippie Dome

In his designs, Richard Buckminster Fuller combined technology and ecology in a ground-breaking manner. His spherical domes made out of triangles provided a blueprint for many hippie communes to construct simple but earthquake-secure buildings out of wood.

In this workshop, we will reconstruct such a dome using found and salvaged natural materials – with the support of the Prinzessinengarten.
