A constant whistling and stomping, a groaning, gurgling, grinding, and rumbling generated deep inside ancient glaciers. The climate change that humanity has brought to the world is also evident here.

The glaciers of Central Asia are gradually disappearing, but they are not doing so quietly. Lillevan (Rechenzentrum) and Artyom Kim have climbed the Kazakh glacier Tjuksu to capture the “cool sound” of its melting. The result is a requiem to the glacier now premiering in Berlin.
