MemoryScape

Young Berliners participating in the MemoryScape photography project will be asked about their own collective memories. In co-operation with artists, they will come to understand the strategies of the Chinese photographers in the exhibition (see page xxx) and to apply these in their own works. Collective memory will serve as a leitmotif for visually perceiving the city.

In addition, the Arts in Education Forum will be held on two days.

On 3 March at 5 p.m. artists will be presenting the MemoryScape project and

on 27 March at 6.30 p.m. there will be a reception with guided tours of the exhibition on New Photography and Video from China for teachers.
