“Amor?“ is a poetic mixture of documentary and fictional elements, a film about lovers’ relationships in which unbridled passion gets out of control and sometimes even turns into violence. Inspired by true stories, the actors and actresses interpret the spectrum of emotions from jealousy, guilt and power in eight installments.

João Jardim (*1964 in Rio de Janeiro) graduated in cinema studies at New York University. He is a successful documentary filmmaker and has won jury and audience prizes at the São Paulo International Film Festival. He was also honored at various film festivals for his documentary “Pro dia nascer feliz“ (2005) about the national education system for young people.
