50 Years of Fighting for Human Rights
Wed, May 25–Sun, May 29, 2011

In May 1961, a British lawyer wrote a newspaper article calling on people to join together in demanding the release of all non-violent political prisoners. It was the founding moment of the world’s biggest human rights organization, Amnesty International, which now has more than three million members.
Milestones in the development of Amnesty International in the context of contemporary history – visitors receive the opportunity to take action themselves.
