50 Years of Fighting for Human Rights

In May 1961, a British lawyer wrote a newspaper article calling on people to join together in demanding the release of all non-violent political prisoners. It was the founding moment of the world’s biggest human rights organization, Amnesty International, which now has more than three million members.
