Africa 1960 - Looking back to the future

1960 was a year of hope for many Africans. 17 countries attained independence from colonial powers. Today, 50 years later, the question poses itself: "What has become of the hopes of the people and the visions of their leaders?" Renowned authors will debate independence and the ongoing process of de-colonialisation.
