Day 1 | Rue Princesse Day 2 | Day 3

6 pm Performance
Marc Aschenbrenner „zum Schirm“
The Figure’s Roads to Shelter
How can we be at one with ourselves? In his performances, the artist Marc Aschenbrenner develops characters –part primeval being and part science-fiction figure – who have to fight for their place in the world. For the Rue Princesse project, he appeared in public space in Abidjan, where he was initially taken for a witch.

7 pm Performance
Sacrifice raté / The unsuccessful Sacrifice (premiere)
A political theater performance based on Heiner Müller’s play Mauser, on the subject of revolution. With Gotta Depri, Ted Gaier, Hauke Heumann, Lassana Kamagate, Serge Nekpe, and Peter Ott.

8:30 pm Performance
Chicks on Speed present - Girl Monster #11: Sexy or Sexist
Is Mapouka an emancipatory dance or ethno-porn? In their 11th edition of “Girl Monster”, Chicks on Speed thematize the differences between white and black feminism. A happening with videos, lectures, action and live music.

10 pm Theater
Très très fort / A president’s chair is not a bench
A play about politics in the Ivory Coast. Local actors demonstrate the behaviour and appearance of African politicians and rebels. They recount the daily clashes, mistrust, and propaganda in a country destroyed by civil war. It is translated by German actors, who question the performers from Abidjan and establish links with politicians in Germany. Now and then, show elements evoke a different world which knows no war, presenting a sharp contrast to the reality of everyday life on the Ivory Coast.
With Gotta Depri, Cornelia Dörr, Hauke Heumann, Lassana Kamagate, Serge Nekpe, Franck Edmond Yao alias Gadoukou la Star.

10 pm Screening/Video
With AlexandLiane: "Il faut danser, il faut chanter"
Videos of the Coupé Décalé scene from Abidjan
