László Krasznahorkai on states of perfection and imperfection (Hungary)
Mon, Sep 20, 2010
7.30 pm
Admission: 6 €, concessions 5 €, school students 4 €
The great melancholic of Hungarian literature, László Krasznahorkai, tells tales of the sparks of inspiration within things, with an unerring feel for moments of divinity manifesting in the work of artisans and nature. Seoibo is a Japanese deity whose peaches, which confer immortality, bloom only once every 3000 years. His latest collection of stories, which he presents here together with Andreas Isenschmid, is dedicated in name to the goddess.
