Wolfram Kistner’s Gerechtigkeit und Versöhnung (Justice and Reconciliation) deals with the question of theology and the church during the transformation processes taking place in the new South Africa. The South African pastor and opponent of Apartheid worked for a time in the South African Church Council and found himself under house arrest for six months in 1986. The presentation and film will be followed by Torsten Schütte’s new documentary film Land Matters, which looks at new forms of neighbourliness between black and white landowners in Namibia.
