A politically explosive film about men, power and witch-hunts. When a village is struck by meningitis, Naboko, a rather inconvenient figure, is declared a ‘soul-eater’ and forced to flee. Naboko’s daughter, who is raped and subsequently marries someone in the next village, sets off in search of her.
