Declaration of Independence (draft, with changes by Benjamin Franklin)

Can universalism still be saved? In his book Radikaler Universalismus, philosopher Omri Boehm calls for a return to its origins: Only with a correct understanding of the humanistic appeal of the biblical prophets and Immanuel Kant can injustice be fought without compromise in the name of radical universalism, not of identity. Boehm provides more than a reinterpretation; he revolutionizes the fundamental understanding of what universalism is. In doing so, he invokes Kant and his often-misunderstood revival of the ethical monotheism of the Jewish prophets. A bold proposal that, in its fearlessness, opens a way out of the deadlocked identity debate.
