In 1983 Brian De Palma did this remake of the gangster film "Scarface" according to a screenplay by Oliver Stone. Al Pacino and Michelle Pfeiffer in the leading roles, scenes which were unusually violent for the time, and the decadent atmosphere – all this came together to make a cult film that is currently experiencing a revival in the hip-hop scene.
