Jandek
The archetype of the independent outsider: Each year since 1978 Jandek has released albums with noisy, dissonant Folk and Blues improvisations and poetic texts, as unsettling as they are intense. With his first performance in 2004 the Texan suddenly abandoned his isolation. For No! Music he will be playing one of his rare concerts.

Nihilist Spasm Band feat. Alexander Hacke
The “Godfathers of Noise,” inspired as much by Russian nihilism as by Louisiana’s “Spasm” bands from the early days of Jazz who performed on everyday objects, were founded in London, Ontario, in 1965. With self-made instruments, a passion for destroying expectations, and insights derived from experimentation, they have won fans from Thurston Moore to R.E.M. as well as gaining a huge cult following in Japan.
