The Great Regression – an international debate

An international debate on current phenomena – the rise of nationalist parties, a coarsening of public discourse, the spread of xenophobic ideas – and what can be done about them. In April, the collection The Great Regression edited by Heinrich Geiselberger was issued in German by Suhrkamp (and in eleven other languages). Three of the contributors, Donatella della Porta, Wolfgang Streeck and Arjun Appadurai, will present the book and later discuss right-wing extremism, election year 2017 and political strategies for resistance against reactionary forces.
