The Actuality of the Aesthetic

With presentations by four speakers, the Collaborative Research Centre “Aesthetic Experience and the Dissolution of Artistic Limits” at the Freie Universität Berlin devotes its final conference to the “actuality of the aesthetic.” How are the challenges of the aesthetic in relation to art, science, and politics to be grasped in today’s world?
The talks will be given by Werner Busch, Lydia Goehr, Christoph Menke, and Gertrud Koch. A discussion will follow.
