Inés Garcia films an ambivalent movement where the up and the down don’t form a unity any longer. Peter Downsbrough films the structures of space, the conjunction between the inside and the outside. Barbara Visser films an abandoned greenhouse, a full moon night. She reanimates the plants, in a visual language where nature is shown as an artefact, devoid of all natural contexts. Hans Op De Beeck bases himself on the memories of recollected places of which he recaptures archetype and abstract images left in his memory, by playing on their ambiguity: sometimes serious, sometimes futile, maintaining at once a burlesque comedy and a film noir.
