Maureen Walrath

Maureen Walrath is a collaborative and interdisciplinary artist, a soft and fierce student of birth, death, burial and blood mysteries, a reverent farmer and a full spectrum doula. She is a member of Woven Thresholds, a collaborative project in Port Townsend that applies the ancient craft of willow basketry to the weaving of "threshold vessels", i.e. burial baskets, cradles and willow baskets.
