Joan Tronto
Joan Tronto is professor emerita of political science at the University of Minnesota and at Hunter College and the Graduate School at the City University of New York. Tronto works in feminist political theory, women in politics and issues of diversity. Her most important writings concern ethics of care. She is the author of Moral Boundaries: A Political Argument for an Ethic of Care (1993) and Caring Democracy: Markets, Equality, and Justice (2013). She is also initiator of the Care Ethics Research Consortium www.care-ethics.org.
