Nahed Samour
Nahed Samour, a law and Islamic studies scholar, is an Early Career Fellow at the Lichtenberg-Kolleg, The Göttingen Institute for Advanced Study, and at the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, Faculty of Law and Religion. She studied law and Islamic studies at the universities of Bonn, Berlin (HU), Birzeit/Ramallah, Damascus, London (SOAS), and Harvard, and at the Max Planck Institute for European Legal History in Frankfurt am Main. She was a postdoctoral researcher at the Eric Castrén Institute of International Law and Human Rights, Helsinki University. Since 2015 she has been a junior faculty member at Harvard Law School, Institute for Global Law and Policy.
