Peter Minshall

Peter Minshall, born 1941 in Guyana, is an artist working in performance art, theater design, painting and sculpture. For over thirty years, he has concentrated in the medium of "mas", the performance of masquerade and mobile sculpture as developed and practiced in the Carnival of Trinidad. With his performance and production group, The Callaloo Company, he develops theatrical and performance art works that grow out of the ingredients of masque, image, rhythm, and movement of the mas.
