Carlos Motta

Carlos Motta is a multidisciplinary artist who documents the social conditions and political struggles of sexual, gender and ethnic minority communities. His career survey exhibition Your Monsters, Our Idols (2022) is currently on view at the Wexner Center for the Arts, Columbus, Ohio. He is an Associate Professor of Interdisciplinary Practice in Fine Arts at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. Motta was awarded PinchukArtCentre’s Future Generation Art Prize.
