Alexandra Toland

Alexandra Toland is junior professor for Arts and Research at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and a visual artist and environmental planner whose research focuses on ecosystem services, urban ecology, soil and culture, multi-species relationships and the anthropocene. She has published widely on the topic of soil and art, including most recently the co-edited book publication Field to Palette – Dialogues on Soil and Art in the Anthropocene (2018).
