Ulrich van Loyen
Ulrich van Loyen is a literary critic and social anthropologist and currently Research Fellow at the International Research Center for Cultural Studies, Vienna. He recently published Der Pate und sein Schatten. Die Literatur der Mafia (2021) and Neapels Unterwelt. Über die Möglichkeit einer Stadt (2018). He also edited the German translation of Ernesto de Martino’s works and is working on a short book about Postwar Shamanism.
