Esther Leslie is professor of political aesthetics at Birkbeck, University of London. In her academic work, she explores how aesthetic innovations, art and culture, respond or react to liberatory revolutionary situations. Among her latest publications are The Inextinguishable (2020) with Melanie Jackson and Liquid Crystals: The Science and Art of a Fluid Form (2016).
