Els Lagrou

Els Lagrou is a professor of social and cultural anthropology at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and a researcher at the National Center of Research in ​​Brasília. Her research interests include Amerindian ethnology and its ontological, social and aesthetic regimes. Lagrou has published extensively in books and international journals. She is the author of The Fluidity of Form: Art, Alterity and Agency in an Amazonian Society (2007).
