Alfredo González-Ruibal

Alfredo González-Ruibal is an archaeologist specializing in contemporary archaeology and African archaeology. He has studied stateless communities in the past and in the present in Europe, South America and Africa, with a particular emphasis on strategies of resistance and alternative models of social organization. He is the author of An archaeology of resistance. Materiality and time in an African borderland (2014) and An archaeology of the contemporary era (2019).
