Yongming Han is a professor at the Institute of Earth Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on the use of biomass burning and fossil fuel markers to study environmental and climate change. He leads a project on the Anthropocene funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
