Liz Thomas
Liz Thomas is a paleoclimatologist and head of the ice core research group at the British Antarctic Survey. Thomas specializes in abrupt climate change. She produced the first comprehensive record of Antarctic surface mass balance and quantified the 20th century contribution to global sea levels. In addition Thomas leads several research groups and is an expert member for the International Partnerships in Ice Core Science.
