Listening at Pungwe

Listening at Pungwe is a multidisciplinary project by Memory Biwa and Robert Machiri. Re-listening to the use of voice, language, instruments, bodily movements and modern technology in recordings, both archival and contemporary, they activate these sonic moments through installations and performances, as a way of deconstructing colonial archival practices. They propose new publics to collectively hear/feel/create anew knowledge about the space and time in which we live.
