Donna V. Jones
Donna V. Jones is an associate professor of English at the University of California, Berkeley. Her research interests include the literature of the Americas and African Diaspora, postcolonial literature and critical theory. Her publication The Racial Discourses of Life Philosophy: Négritude, Vitalism and Modernity (2010) was awarded the Jeanne and Aldo Scaglione Prize. She is currently working on the project The Promise of Decline: Race and Historical Pessimism in the Era of the Great War.
