Camilla Bork

Camilla Bork is Professor at the Department of Musicology at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. Her research focuses on music historiography, the musical culture of the Weimar Republic, the aesthetics of virtuosity, gender, and performance practice. Amongst other publications, Bork has co-edited a volume on the interactions of analytical approaches and cultural contextualization of music (with Tobias Bleek, 2010). She is a member of the editorial board Analysis in Context. Leuven Studies in Musicology. She also works as a co-curator for the Festival Infektionen at Staatsoper Unter den Linden, Berlin.
