Jochen Oltmer

Jochen Oltmer is professor of migration history at the Institute for Migration Research and Intercultural Studies of the University of Osnabrück. His work focuses on the history of German, European and global migration since the late 18th century. He is a member of the advisory board of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, co-founder of the Netzwerk Flüchtlingsforschung and editor of the online publication series focus Migration.
