Marlena Novak

Marlena Novak is a multidisciplinary artist and a professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Prior to that, she was associate director of Northwestern University’s Animate Arts program and visiting professor at the University of New Mexico. Novak has extensively exhibited her work internationally, received several grants and was an Artist-in-Residence in Krems in 2018. She is co-founder of localStyle with Jay Alan Yim and a member of Deep Time Chicago.
