Keith Nurse

Keith Nurse has been a pioneer in research, advocacy and enterprise development in the creative industries, especially music, film, festivals and copyright. He is Principal of Sir Arthur Lewis University College in Saint Lucia, and senior advisor on Structural Policies and Innovation at the OECD Development Centre, Paris. Nurse has taught at the University of the West Indies and the University of Ottawa, Canada. He is the chair of CaribbeanTales Worldwide Distribution and co-founder of the CaribbeanTales incubator. He has served as a consultant and advisor for several international agencies including UNESCO, OECD, UNIDO and IDB. Howie Lee is a DJ, music producer, and video artist pioneering the growing electronic underground scene in Beijing, centered on Lee’s own record label Do Hits. His musical work combines acoustic references to Chinese origins and the homelessness of globalized consumer culture, to the legacy of ancient music traditions, the cyberpunk of the 1980s, and the hyperartificial visions of today’s post-digital, technology- obsessed fanaticism for progress. Togetherwith simulation designer Teom Chen he performed on Saturday night at the Right the Right festival.
