Yasemin Karakaşoğlu

· Yasemin Karakaşoğlu is professor of intercultural education in the General Education Department at the University of Bremen. Her research focuses on teacher education and (higher) school development in the migration society. She is chair of the Rat für Migration e.V. and member of the academic advisory board of the Islamkolleg Deutschland e.V. Her publications include Regimes of Belonging – Schools – Migrations (2021), which discusses whether the national focus of school education is still appropriate in times of increasing migration.
