Sarah Kanouse

Sarah Kanouse is an interdisciplinary artist and writer examining the political ecology of landscape and space. Migrating between video, photography and performative forms, her research-based projects shift the visual dimension of the landscape to uncover hidden stories of environmental and social transformation. She is associate professor of media art at Northeastern University and a recent fellow at the Rachel Carson Institute for Environment and Society at LMU Munich.
