Peter Harris

Peter Harris is founder and board member of Resonate, a streaming music cooperative. Active as a web developer since the 1990s, he has built hundreds of sites across dozens of industries. Harris has focused especially on the music industry, collaborating with numerous musicians, from struggling artists to mid-level bands (and even a few platinum-selling superstars). His nighttime hobby as a DJ and electronica producer led to experiments with virtually every web and music-publishing platform available. Exploring all their weaknesses and strengths, this combination of background and insight eventually birthed Resonate’s fundamental features. Harris has spoken publicly about Resonate and the blockchain at festivals and conferences such as re:publica, Sonar+D, Music Tech Fest and Most Wanted Music.
