Claudia Hummel is a university lecturer, art educator and curator. Her work focuses on research and projects at the interface of art and education. In recent years, she has mainly done research on the history of artistic and educational practice in West Berlin since the 1970s. Since 2009 she has worked as an academic teacher in the Art in Context course at the Institut für Kunst im Kontext of the Berlin University of the Arts.
