Axel Heil

Axel Heil is professor for Experimental transfer methods at the State Academy of Fine Arts Karlsruhe. In 1999 he established the platform fluid. He has published on artists and artistic movements such as Jacqueline de Jong, Pablo Picasso, CoBrA and SPUR. He has curated exhibitions at, among others, the Museum Folkwang, Essen, Deichtorhallen Hamburg and the ZKM, Karlsruhe, where he carried out the exhibition Aby Warburg – Mnemosyne Bilderatlas with Roberto Ohrt in 2016. He is represented by Galerie Michael Haas, Berlin.
