Amber Ginsburg

Amber Ginsburg is a lecturer at the University of Chicago who creates research-based multimedia installations. Her site-generated projects and social sculpture insert historical scenarios into present-day situations. Currently she’s drawn to imagined futures for human survival. Looking to past feminist strategies such as collective action and equity politics, her works allow audiences an active role in the completion of the work. She is a member of Deep Time Chicago.
