Denise Frazier is the assistant director of the New Orleans Center for the Gulf South at Tulane University. She is interested in Cuban politics and African Diaspora culture within Latin America as well as in contemporary music, specifically hip hop, and public performance. She frequently plays violin with performance organizations and musicians around New Orleans, including Les Cenelles and The Ramshackle Revival and is a company member of Goat in the Road Productions.
