Rosa Eidelpes

Rosa Eidelpes is a writer, literary scholar and cultural theorist. In 2015, she finished her doctoral thesis on surrealism and ethnology in Paris in the 1930ies. Since 2018 she has been a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Konstanz on „alternative ethnology“ in the Federal Republic of Germany, ca. 1979-1989. Her publications include an essay on Hubert Fichte, Arthur Rimbaud and avant-garde ethnology in: D. Diederichsen / A. Franke (ed.): Love and Ethnology. The Colonial Dialectics of Sensitivity (after Hubert Fichte), 2019, and her book Entgrenzung der Mimesis. Bataille – Caillois – Leiris, 2019.
