Mitchell Esajas
Mitchell Esajas is co-founder of the Black Archives and chair of New Urban Collective Amsterdam, a social enterprise with the mission to strengthen the socioeconomic position of youths with a migrant background, especially those of African descent. He obtained a master’s degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology and a master’s degree in Business Administration and works as a program manager of the master Medical, Social and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Amsterdam. In addition, he organizes education, empowerment, and advocacy programs for youth, students, and young professionals from diverse cultural backgrounds in Amsterdam.
